      • Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh

At around 7:30 AM, you’ll meet your guide or easy rider at the Valor office in Ha Giang City. After a short briefing and safety preparation, we begin the journey into the northern mountains.

Leaving the city behind, the landscape quickly changes. Winding roads lead you through dramatic valleys and limestone peaks as we ride toward Bac Sum Pass, one of the first iconic mountain roads of the Ha Giang Loop.

Along the way, we stop at Khau Lan Waterfall, hidden quietly within the forest, before continuing to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where panoramic views open across Tam Son Valley and the famous Twin Mountains.

After lunch in Quan Ba, the journey slows down as we pass through Nam Dam Village, home to the Red Dao people, and continue to Lung Tam Village, where H’mong artisans still preserve the traditional craft of linen weaving.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Yen Minh Town.

Dinner is shared together in a small local guesthouse, followed by a quiet evening in the mountains. Sometimes, the best moments of Ha Giang happen after the ride is over.

      • Yen Minh – Lung Cu - Dong Van

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to more remote villages, passing through Lung Cam, Sa Phin, and Lung Cu. We’ll stop at a H’mong village in Lung Cam to visit the Vuong Family’s residence, own as the “Palace of the Hmong King.” , known for its historical use as an opium and weapons storage site. This palace offers a glimpse into Hmong royalty of the past. It was abandoned in 1950. Lunch will be in Lung Cu.

Afterward, we’ll visit Lung Cu, Vietnam’s northernmost point, where you can admire the village below and the large flag atop Dragon Mountain. We’ll also visit a village of the Lolo ethnic group.

We’ll return to Dong Van for dinner and enjoy the nightlife.

      • Dong Van – Meo Vac – Bao Lac

The morning begins slowly in Dong Van Old Quarter.

If your journey falls on a Sunday, you’ll have the chance to visit the Dong Van Ethnic Market, where people from surrounding mountain villages gather before sunrise.

After breakfast, we continue toward one of the most breathtaking roads in Vietnam: Ma Pi Leng Pass.

From here, you can choose your own experience:

        Option 1: White Cliff Hike

A scenic trek through the mountains with panoramic views over the Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon. Quiet, raw, and deeply rewarding.

Option 2: Nho Que River Boat Ride

A peaceful boat journey through the emerald waters below the canyon, surrounded by dramatic limestone walls rising hundreds of meters above you.

By midday, we arrive in Meo Vac for lunch before continuing deeper into the northern mountains toward Bao Lac, where the landscape slowly changes again, greener valleys, quieter roads, and fewer travelers.

By late afternoon, we reach our local homestay in Bao Lac.

      • Bao Lac – Cao Bang – Trung Khanh

After breakfast, we leave Bao Lac behind and continue into some of the most remote landscapes of Northern Vietnam.

The morning ride takes us across Khau Coc Cha Pass, a mountain road carved into the hills with layer after layer of winding turns disappearing into the clouds. From above, the road feels almost unreal, twisting gently through the mountainside.

Further ahead, we cross Cao Bac Pass and the quiet curves of Na Tenh Pass, where mist drifts slowly over rice terraces and small villages hidden deep within the valleys. This part of the journey feels different less dramatic, more peaceful. A slower side of the north that few travelers ever reach.

Lunch is served in a small local town along the way before we continue toward the beautiful valleys of Phong Nam and Ngoc Con. Here, the landscape opens into wide rice fields surrounded by limestone mountains, where Tay communities continue a simple way of life shaped by the land.

In the afternoon, we stop at Co La Waterfall, flowing quietly between fields and forest, before arriving at Khuoi Ky Stone Village a small village over 400 years old, where traditional stone houses still stand beneath the mountains.

By early evening, we reach our homestay near Ban Gioc Waterfall.

Dinner is shared together with local dishes and a quiet atmosphere beside the borderlands. Tomorrow, the journey leads to one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Vietnam.

      • Ban Gioc Waterfall - Mountain Angel Eye - Cao Bang City

After breakfast, we visit Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most beautiful limestone caves in Northern Vietnam. Inside, the temperature cools and the world becomes quiet except for the sound of footsteps echoing beneath ancient rock formations shaped over millions of years.

From there, we hike gently up to Phat Tich Truc Lam Pagoda, where the view opens across Ban Gioc Waterfall, the Quay Son River, and the surrounding mountains. A peaceful place to pause before the journey continues.

By late morning, we arrive at Ban Gioc Waterfall itself.

Here, the water flows powerfully across the borderlands between Vietnam and China, surrounded by emerald rice fields and limestone cliffs. We take a boat ride close to the falls, where the mist, the sound of rushing water, and the scale of the landscape make the moment feel almost unreal.

After lunch in Trung Khanh, the road leads us deeper into the quiet valleys of Cao Bang to visit Angel Eye Mountain and the nearby lake of Thang Hen. Hidden between limestone peaks, this place carries a calm and untouched beauty that feels far removed from the outside world.
