      • Ha Giang Loop – Quan Ba – Yen Minh

We meet at 8:00 AM  either at our hotel, or we’ll come and pick you up directly from your hotel.

Before the journey begins, we take a moment to ease into it. A short safety briefing, getting fitted with your gear, and a chance to meet your guide and settle into the rhythm ahead.

        And then, we ride.

As we leave Ha Giang City behind, the scenery begins to shift almost instantly. The roads wind gently into the mountains, rice fields open into wide valleys, and limestone peaks rise quietly around you.

We pause often not out of necessity, but because the landscape invites it.

At Nam Dam Village, you’ll step into the world of the Red Dao people. It’s a chance to slow down, observe, and connect.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to Lung Tam Village, home to H’mong artisans who have practiced hemp weaving for generations. Here, you’ll see the entire process, from raw plant to finished fabric and even try a few steps yourself.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Yen Minh, a peaceful mountain town where the day naturally softens.

Dinner is served at 7:00 PM, followed by a quiet evening. Time to rest, reflect, and ease into the journey tomorow.

      • Yen Minh – Lung Cu – Dong Van

After breakfast, we journey deeper into the mountains. Toward the remote northern frontier of Vietnam, where the landscapes grow wilder and life moves at a different pace.

We pass through Lung Cam and Sa Phin, quiet villages where history doesn’t sit in museums. It lives on in the houses, the people, and the rhythm of everyday life.

At the Vuong Family Palace (Hmong King’s Palace), you’ll step into a fascinating chapter of the region’s past. Once home to one of the most powerful families in the mountains, this place tells a story shaped by trade, opium, and the complex politics of a time long gone.

We arrive in Dong Van Town for lunch, before continuing to visit a Lo Lo ethnic village, offering a rare and intimate glimpse into one of Vietnam’s most distinctive cultures.

As evening falls, Dong Van reveals its quiet charm.

Dinner is shared together, and for those who wish, a few cups of happy water(local rice wine)  often turn into laughter, stories, and unexpected connections.

        👉 A small local secret:

If your timing allows, try to be here on a Sunday.

That’s when the Dong Van market takes place. Not just a place to buy and sell, but a weekly gathering where people from surrounding villages come together to meet, trade, and reconnect. A moment of real life, unfolding in the mountains.

      • Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ha Giang

The morning begins at your own pace.

Take a quiet walk through Dong Van Old Town, sip a coffee, or explore the local market.

At 9:30 AM, we set off toward Meo Vac, following a road that is often considered the highlight of the entire Ha Giang Loop.

Soon, the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass unfolds before you.

Towering cliffs rise on one side, while far below, the emerald waters of the Nho Que River carve their way through the dramatic depths of Tu San Canyon, one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in Vietnam.

        We take our time here.

Stopping at scenic points, not just for photos, but to truly take in the scale, the silence, and the raw beauty of the mountains.

After crossing into Meo Vac, the journey continues through winding roads and changing landscapes, gradually leaving behind the rugged stone mountains for softer, greener valleys.

We pause for lunch along the way. A moment to rest, recharge, and reflect on everything you’ve experienced so far.

In the afternoon, the road gently leads us back toward Ha Giang City.

By around 4:00 PM, we return to Ha Giang. The loop comes to an end, but the feeling of the journey lingers far beyond the road.

From here, you can continue your travels with ease:

        • A VIP bus back to Hanoi, arriving around 11:00 PM
        • Or a private transfer, arranged to match your schedule

    FAQ ABOUT

HA GIANG LOOP TOUR 3 DAYS

    • The 3-day journey offers a strong and meaningful introduction to Ha Giang. You’ll still experience the most iconic highlights: dramatic mountain passes, ethnic villages, and the unique rhythm of life in the north. However, compared to the 4-day route, the pace is more condensed. If you’re short on time, 3 days is absolutely worth it. If you want a more relaxed, immersive experience, we usually recommend 4 days.
    • This tour is ideal for travelers who: - Have limited time but still want to experience the Ha Giang Loop - Prefer a slightly faster pace without missing key highlights - Enjoy active travel and don’t mind spending more time on the road
    • Both options are available. - If you’re confident and hold a valid license (1968 IDP with motorbike endorsement), you can ride yourself. - If not or if you simply want to relax, choosing an easy rider allows you to fully take in the scenery while being safely guided by a local expert. We always prioritize safety and will advise honestly based on your experience.
    • On average, you’ll ride around 120 - 180 km per day, depending on the route. It may sound like a lot, but the journey is carefully paced with frequent stops: for photos, rest, meals, and simply taking in the views. The 3-day tour is more intensive than the 4-day version, but still designed to be enjoyable rather than exhausting.
    • We stay in a mix of local homestays and small guesthouses, selected for their comfort and authenticity: - Clean and well-maintained - Run by local families - Warm, welcoming atmosphere
    • No. Valor operates small groups only, typically 1 to 6 travelers. Even if you’re traveling solo, the tour will still run without changing the price. This ensures: - No long convoys - A safer and more flexible pace - A more personal, human experience
    • Ha Giang’s weather can change quickly. That’s part of its character. If conditions are not ideal, we adapt: - Adjust routes to find the best conditions - Slow the pace for safety - Offer alternative transport if needed In rare cases of extreme conditions (like landslides), we may cancel or reschedule. If you need to cancel, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance for a refund.
