      • Journey to Ha Giang: The beginning of something different

We’ll help you travel comfortably to Ha Giang from anywhere in Northern Vietnam.

        • From Hanoi
        • From Sapa
        • From Ha Long Bay
        • From Cat Ba Island
        • From Ninh Binh

Buses operate throughout the day, typically from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Simply let us know your preferred departure time and location. We’ll do our best to arrange the most suitable option for your journey.

We offer you a complimentary stay for one night before the tour begins, so you can rest, refresh, and settle in before starting your journey.

      • We have free sleeping dorms when you arrive at Ha Giang, if you have requests for a private room, please contact us in advance to check for an available room.

      • Ha Giang- Quan Ba - Yen Minh

We meet at 8:00 AM either at our hotel or we’ll pick you up directly from your hotel. Before setting off, we take time to prepare: safety briefing, gear fitting, and getting to know your guide.

        Then, we ride.

Leaving Ha Giang City behind, the landscape transforms quickly. Rice fields stretch into valleys, limestone mountains rise around you, and the road begins to wind into the heart of the north.

We stop often, not because we have to, but because you’ll want to.

At Nam Dam Village, you’ll step into the world of the Red Dao people, learning about their traditions and way of life that has remained unchanged for generations.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to Lung Tam Village, home to H’mong artisans known for their traditional hemp weaving. Here, you’ll witness the full process, from raw plant to finished fabric and even try it yourself.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Yen Minh, a quiet mountain town where the day gently comes to rest.

Dinner is served at 7:00 PM, followed by a relaxed evening with your group.

      • Yen Minh - Lung Cu - Dong Van.

After breakfast, we head deeper into the mountains. Toward the remote frontier of Vietnam.

We pass through Lung Cam and Sa Phin, where history still lives quietly among the hills.

At the Vuong Family Palace (Hmong King’s Palace), you’ll discover the story of one of the most powerful families in the region’s past. A glimpse into a different time, shaped by trade, opium, and mountain politics.

Lunch is served in Dong Van Town, followed by a visit to a Lo Lo ethnic village, offering a deeper understanding of one of the country’s most unique cultures.

As night falls, Dong Van comes alive in its own quiet way.

Dinner is shared together and for those who wish, a few cups of “happy water” (local rice wine) open the door to laughter and connection.

If your timing allows, we highly recommend arriving on a Sunday, when the Dong Van market takes place. It’s more than a market. It’s a weekly gathering where communities meet, trade, and reconnect.

      • Dong Van - Meo Vac - Du Gia

The morning begins slowly,  a walk through the old town, a coffee, a quiet moment.

At 9:30 AM, we ride toward Meo Vac, along what many consider the most breathtaking road in Vietnam.

The legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass unfolds before you. Cliffs, sky, and the deep emerald ribbon of the Nho Que River far below.

We stop for a 4 km trek along the Sky Path, offering panoramic views over the dramatic Tu San Canyon, one of the deepest in Southeast Asia.

After lunch in Mau Due, the journey continues through layers of mountains softer, greener, more open.

As we approach Du Gia, the world changes again.

Colorful mountains, quiet valleys, and small villages untouched by mass travel welcome you into a slower rhythm.

Tonight, you stay with a local family sharing dinner, stories, and a simple, peaceful evening in the heart of the mountains.

      • Du Gia - Lung Ho - Ha Giang

Wake up early not because you have to, but because the mountains are at their most beautiful in the morning light.

Enjoy breakfast and coffee overlooking rice terraces, then take a refreshing swim at Du Gia Waterfall, where clear blue water flows through the jungle.

After checking out, we begin the journey back.

We pass through Lung Ho Valley, stopping at Tay villages along the way, places where life moves slowly and traditions remain strong.

From a scenic viewpoint, you’ll see Duong Thuong Village stretching across the valley, a final reminder of the landscapes you’ve traveled through.

By around 4:00 PM, we return to Ha Giang.

        After the Loop

        • A VIP bus will take you back to Hanoi, arriving around 11:00 PM
        • Or, we can arrange a private transfer or adjust the schedule to match your flight

    FAQ ABOUT

HA GIANG LOOP TOUR 4 DAYS

    • Yes. Absolutely. If you’ve never ridden a motorbike before, you can simply choose to ride on the back of one of our experienced local guides (easy riders). This allows you to fully enjoy the landscapes without worrying about the road. If you prefer to ride yourself, we’ll assess your experience and advise honestly. To legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam, you must have: A national motorcycle license An International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1968 Vienna Convention A valid motorbike (motorcycle) endorsement on your IDP. IDPs from the 1949 Convention are not accepted .If your IDP does not include a motorbike license, you cannot ride.
    • We keep our groups intentionally small. Typically 1 to 6 travelers. Even if you’re traveling solo, we will still run the tour with no change in price. This allows for a more personal and flexible experience, without long convoys or crowded stops. You move at your own pace, connect more deeply with your guide, and experience Ha Giang in a quieter, more authentic way.
    • We stay at a mix of carefully selected local homestays and small guesthouses. All accommodations are: - Clean and comfortable - Run by local families - Chosen for their atmosphere Private rooms are available if you prefer more privacy.
    • Ha Giang’s weather can change quickly. That’s part of the adventure. If conditions are not ideal, we adapt: - Adjust the route to ensure the best possible views - Slow the pace for safety - Offer alternative transport options if needed In rare cases of extreme weather (like landslides), we may cancel or reschedule for safety. If you need to cancel, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund.
